Second research day2 report
Starting from the southern end of the US military bombing site, we conducted a drifting bird survey to the northern end of the survey point yesterday. Three people, Wallenius Wilhelmsen Ocean AS, who joined us yesterday, participated in the survey.
Since I didn't have to go back and forth on foot, the survey was completed in half the scheduled time, and thank you for WOAS‘s members cooperation in renting a car.
Today's survey identified old dolphin vertebral bodies and fresh shearwater carcasses. Neither has been found to be affected by heavy oil.
Since we have crossed all the planned coastlines, this land survey is over.
