I left Tokyo in the night on Aug 19th and arrived in Hachinohe after noon on 20th. At the Hachinohe Kita IC, we met with Mr. Hitoshi Sekishita of the Wild Bird Society of Japan Aomori Chapter, and after hearing about the status of seabird pollution immediately after the accident, I were guided to the coast near the site.
Until now, no corpse or weak and immobile individual has been found.
